Anja-Margaretha Moritz

Anja-Margaretha Moritz was a student of the tourism school in Salzburg-Klessheim, she graduated successfully in year 2004. As she is a very ambitious women she decided to choose Dallas/Texas for her next destination to improve her profession. The time at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas was one of the most interesting experiences for life. The year in the USA passed by and she decided to build up her life in Austria. Back in Vienna she worked at the front desk for the luxury hotels:
„Grand Hotel Vienna“ and „The Ring“.

Roman Pichler

After his apprenticeship for kitchen and restaurant at the Hotel Panhans-Semmering, Roman Pichler improved his creativity and his passion to cook at the Posthotel in St. Moritz. From Switzerland back in Vienna he collected very important experiences in one of the best gourmet restaurants in town – the „Le Ciel“ which is located in the „Grand Hotel Vienna“. After a few years he had the privilege to take over the position as a head chef for the new opened 5-star hotel „The Ring“.


The Strategy

Restaurant Moritz menu is kept small, the dishes are composed artful with exquisite fresh ingredients from the market and for the finishing Roman in using his fresh herbs from our own herb garden. To preserve the tradition the „Moritz trouts” are always on our menu, apart from that, food creations with regional and international influences are dominating the continuous changing menu.
